Ameristar Casino Resort and Spa
Ameristar is a 130,000 square-foot gaming casino that includes the latest, most popular slot and video poker machines, a wide variety of table games and an exciting, nonstop action live poker room.

Its adjoining streetscape is full of first-class restaurants, entertainment spots, and more and their Ameristar Resort and Spa evoke the spirit of the Victorian-era, yet the 400 suites have every modern convenience.

More than 10 million visitors a year visit Ameristar and are treated to Las Vegas-quality gaming in a luxurious setting.

Historic Main Street
Main Street St. Charles is the location of Missouri’s First State Capitol and the birth place of the famed Louis and Clark Discovery Expedition.
 
Main Street is the largest historic district in Missouri, touted as the Williamsburg of the Midwest. It’s a  destination location with more than a million visitors each year strolling aside the brick streets and basking in turn of the century architecture. The 13 blocks of Historic Main Street comprise a uniquely quaint place with over 130 shops for dining, shopping, arts, entertainment and attractions.
 
J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts
J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts was opened in 2008 in St. Charles on the campus of the Lindenwood University as a state-of-the-art $32 million, 138,000-square-foot educational and performing arts complex. The complex includes:
 
The Benzenes Family Theater, with 1,200 seats on two (2) levels, it is the largest of the venues at the Center and features a high tech Broadway-style theater.
 
Emerson Black Box Theater a small theatre with 250 seats, is a black box theatre designed to support experimental performances. It is primarily intended for small productions. This theater is equipped with a movable stage allowing the theater to be reconfigured depending on the need of the production.
 
The Boyle Art Gallery is a large, modern gallery facility used for the showing of LU students, as well as art ranging from local to international artists.

The Foundry Arts Centre
The Foundry Art Centre is a 36,800 square foot art center that offers over 20 individual studios where artisans work, display and sell their art. The Grand Hall serves as a one-of-a-kind public events venue and The Children’s Gallery showcases young artists’ masterpieces.

 
St. Charles Family Arena
The 11,000 seat Family Arena is a large indoor event venue and is home to numerous events. The arena has played host to presidential candidates, bull riders, the Lipizzaner Stallions, Moolah Shrine Circus and various rock stars. The Arena also hosts minor league indoor football and soccer teams. You’ll never be at a loss to find something new and exciting at the Family Arena.
  
St. Charles County Youth Orchestra
The St. Charles County Youth Orchestra (SCCYO) in Missouri is a not-for-profit organization that is open to public, private, and home-schooled students across St. Charles County and the surrounding region. Currently, approximately 100 young musicians, grades two through twelve, are members. There are three (3) separate ensembles, grouped by instrument, age and skill level. The ensembles consist of the Symphony Orchestra, Cadenza Orchestra, and Primo Strings.
 
Adrenalin Zone
Where else can you take your friends of all ages and keep them entertained all day? On one side, Demolition Ball, the action packed game played in bumper cars. On the other, Adrenaline Zone, one of the largest multi-level laser tag arenas in the state. In the middle of all the action are video games, pool tables, foosball tables and plenty of room for up to 400 of your closest friends... (or enemies).
